A children’s eye exam is an expert opinion of your child’s eye health and vision.

Children’s eye exams are very important to ensure they are developing excellent visual acuity, accurate eye co-ordination, accurate eye movement and focussing skills.

Many schools perform a vision screening at school but this is not a comprehensive eye examination. If you notice any symptoms of eye rubbing, excessive blinking, failure to maintain eye contact or poor eye tracking skills, be sure to discuss this with your doctor or optometrist when scheduling an eye examination.
